Tourmaline
Tourmaline in Lithotherapy
Tourmaline belongs to the silicate family. An anchor stone par excellence, it will be very useful for people who are sometimes too "head in the air". It is also recognized and sought after for its magnetic field-blocking properties.
Tourmaline comes in many different colors and appearances, with different names. Among them, the Schörl which includes all the black tourmalines, there are also the varieties Dravite, Elbaïte, Verdelite, Pink Tourmaline, Yellow Tourmaline, Achroïte, etc.
Virtues and benefits of tourmaline
Tourmaline has the ability to restore self-confidence, boost inner energy and believe in one's dreams.
It develops empathy and helps to better understand others. As an ally of business leaders, it attracts wealth, success and successful trade. Black tourmaline, in particular, restores psychological balance and alleviates feelings of stress and anxiety.
Its aura is said to protect us from pollution, harmful electromagnetic and spiritual waves. Regardless of its color, tourmaline is very effective in protecting the nervous system and digestive system. It is said to stimulate the blood and cerebral system. It is also indicated for muscle pain and arthritis.
How do you purify and recharge tourmaline?
To purify your tourmaline jewellery or stones, for example, you can immerse them for a few hours in water (ideally demineralised or very slightly salted) and then wipe them with a clean cloth. To recharge them with energy, expose them to sunlight for 2 to 3 hours on a cluster of rock crystal or amethyst (rock crystal being more effective for this stone).
Tourmaline and Astrology.
Tourmaline is not associated with any particular astrological sign , and its energy will be effective with anyone, regardless of their date of birth.
Tourmaline according to the Kundalini Yoga doctrine.
Black tourmaline is associated with the root chakra. For other varieties, this can vary depending on their color.
