Labradorite
Labradorite in Lithotherapy
Discovered in Labrador (Canada), this recognizable stone among a thousand is nicknamed "Caregiver's Stone" or "Doctor's Stone". Labradorite acts as a shield on the psychic plane and repels the negative energies emitted by suffering people.
There are several varieties, of white, blue, green, golden or gray color (the most common). It is sometimes called spectrolite or larvikite. Iridescent, it has a nice bluish metallic reflection (except the golden variety).
Virtues and benefits of labradorite stone.
"Armor stone", "shield stone" are other nicknames of labradorite. If you had to remember only one thing from this stone, it is the protection it brings to our psyche. Empathic people often tend to absorb the negative energies emitted by individuals in great difficulty, which can destabilize them in turn. Labradorite prevents this phenomenon and protects us from the evil of others. That is why it is recommended for people working in the social or medical sector.
Labradorite is particularly appreciated for its regenerative properties and will therefore be useful to recover from a big fatigue, or a trying disease.
How to purify and recharge labradorite stone?
Labradorite is not compatible with salt purification, or without direct contact.
To purify your jewelry or stones rolled into labradorite, you can for example immerse them for a few hours in water (ideally demineralized or very slightly salted), then wipe them with a clean cloth.
To recharge them with energy, expose them to sunlight for 2 to 3 hours. Labradorite can also recharge when placed on a cluster of rock crystal or amethyst.
Labradorite and astrology.
Excellent psychic protective stone for sensitive people, labradorite is recommended to natives of the signs of Sagittarius, Fish, Cancer, Virgo, Libra and Gemini.
