In which room of the house should a wall mirror be placed?

In reality, each room of the dwelling should have at least one mirror in wall decoration.

At Coco Papaya, we consider that the wall mirror is as essential as the luminaires in interior decoration because it is also a vector of luminosity. In addition, its reflection multiplies the feeling of volume and space in the room where it is exposed. It is really a decoration tool that brings a lot of charm and character to our interior. Let us not forget its primary usefulness, which is to be able to look into each other's eyes. Whatever room we are in, it is always nice to be able to check, at a glance, if our appearance is suitable, before venturing outside!

If you do not want or do not want to put mirrors in all the rooms of your home, here are, in our opinion, the rooms where the presence of a wall mirror is rigorously essential:

  • In the entrance. This room is often one of the smallest in the house. It is frequently devoid of brightness. And it is through it that we pass when returning home, or before leaving. Finally, it is the room that sets the tone for the overall decoration of the home: it is this room that your guests see first when they visit you. Here are 4 great reasons to have a wall mirror in your driveway! For this room, we advise you to carefully choose your wall mirror which must be both decorative and functional. Ideally, you should choose a pretty, original, and large enough mirror, which you will place above a console or a pretty chest of drawers for example.
  • In the bedroom, place a mirror facing the window to amplify the natural light and the feeling of space. Well chosen, the mirror will bring character to the decoration of your room, whether it is on the ethnic theme, zen, or bohemian ... Plus, you'll use it regularly to make sure your hairstyle or makeup is compliant!
