Tiki mask wood fully carved and hand painted.
Dimensions : H33 x 11 x P5cm about. A fastener is present at the back for easy hanging the mask.
The legends tell that the Tiki would be the creator of man, and that the sorcerers polynesians him, attributed powers. The head of the tiki symbolizes the power that it houses. His eyes express the knowledge and the power of the supernatural. As for his stretched mouth, and sometimes she pulls the language, or shows his teeth to mark the challenge, and provoke the opponent.
The Polynesians the peoples worshipped and feared. The tiki represents their old gods and distant ancestors mythic. It is a being half-man, half-god. It gives power, strength and protection against dangers. It has a value of talisman : a tiki placed outside of a house protects its inhabitants.
We are a small French company, and not treat them as equals with the artisans that manufacture for us. A true win / win ! This mask was carved by an artisan who has set itself the price. He manages to live worthily of his work.

Au début quand je l'ai pris en main je me suis dit que c'était super léger et en fait tant mieux car ca peut tenir accroché sans risque et le rendu visuel et juste top. Je ne regrette vraiment pas
