The glass vase blown on Gamal root: the beauty of nature enhanced by the talent of the craftsman
Total dimensions (XL model): height = 40 to 50cm approx. / width = 40 to 60 cm approx. / depth = 30 to 40cm approx. / glass thickness 1cm approx. Weight = 12 to 15Kg approximately. Materials: responsibly sourced Gamal root and blown recycled glass. Handcrafted creation imported in compliance with fair trade rules. Non-contractual photo: the shapes of the vases are variable because each piece is unique, but always of equivalent quality.
How is this item made?
The recycled glass is mouth-blown by the craftsman, and while it is still hot, it is placed on a Gamal root (a very dense exotic wood). The glass hardens on contact with air and thus adapts perfectly to the shape of the wood. Once cooled, the glass vase is perfectly stable on its root. It is possible to separate these two elements, for cleaning purposes for example.

Please note that due to the handcrafted nature of this product, there may be small imperfections in the glass such as small bubbles and slight scratches that are virtually invisible to the naked eye.
