Selenite and Crystal Therapy

Selenite is a variety of gypsum that is available in large quantities on our beautiful planet. Easy to extract and polish, and therefore inexpensive, it is an ideal stone for learning about lithotherapy.

Traditionally associated with the crown chakra, selenite contributes to psychic and spiritual balance.

It provides a feeling of calm to its wearer and cleanses the environment around it. It is therefore particularly recommended for people who are having difficulty recovering from an emotionally taxing shock.

Practitioners also recommend it in case of sleep disorders (insomnia, untimely awakenings, etc.). Many testimonies indicate that in combination with amethyst, selenite placed near the bed (on the bedside table for example) would significantly improve the quality of sleep.

Selenite is also interesting for its ability to develop our clairvoyant faculties : whether in the context of introspection, or for mediumistic activities, it opens our third eye and therefore helps us to move forward more serenely in our spiritual quests.
