100% natural Pyrite rough stone (Peruvian origin), sold individually. Characteristics of the stones:

  • size = 5 x 4 x 2.5cm on average (may vary slightly)
  • Weight = 100 grams minimum

A large block of pyrite like the one proposed here is more convenient to observe. Why has pyrite become a major stone of lithotherapy?

In addition to its metallic appearance and texture, pyrite also surprises by the large cubic crystals observed on its surface.

Its name comes from the Greek "pyros" which means "fire" because when you violently clash between them two large pieces of pyrite, you get sparks. It also works when striking pyrite with another metal.

At the time of the gold rush, many novice gold miners confused pyrite with the yellow metal. This earned him the nickname "gold of fools", still often used today by collectors!
