This does not prevent amethyst from also needing to be purified and recharged. It is compatible with all recommended techniques.

To purify your jewelry or crystals in amethyst, simply dip them for a few hours in water (ideally demineralized or slightly salted), then wipe them with a clean cloth.

To recharge them with energy, expose them to sunlight for 2 to 3 hours. Amethyst also appreciates lunar light.
