In hinduism, the Trimūrti, the three forms in sanskrit, is the part shown of the deity supreme, who is triple to preside over the different states of the universe.
The gods Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva (or Rudra, a terrible form of Shiva) represent, respectively, creation, preservation and destruction.
