In the Amerindian tradition,burning sage purifies a place, increases wisdom and intensifies the bond with nature. It is a rite of purification and ancestral protection that has now spread to every continent.

Blue sage is a medicinal plant. Very similar to Shasta sage, blue sage comes from an area with a high energy of Yin. It is therefore ideal for the preparation of meditation sessions or healing ceremonies. Use it to purify the home, the body, negative energies, and to eliminate "parasitic" emotions during healing rites.

Its virtues are close to the White Sage in terms of purification; and its fruity smell is widely appreciated.

Purify and sustainably perfume your home

How to use it:

  • Light the end of the stick with a match or lighter.
  • Allow to burn for 2 to 3 seconds, then blow on the flame to extinguish it.
  • Once the flame is extinguished, smoke is released from the stick and diffuses the sweet scent of California blue sage into your room.
  • Allow the stick to burn gently in a non-flammable container where the ashes will settle. This combustion must always be done under the supervision of an adult, and in a properly ventilated room.
  • When the combustion is complete, make sure all the embers are well extinguished, for example by filling the container with water.

What type of sage to use?

Sage comes in several varieties. When it comes to purifying the air inside, cleaning an object or keeping evil spirits away, white sageis usually used.

In the world of esotericism, Blue Sage is used in healing rites, while Desert Sage is used for protective rituals to drive out negativity.
