Placemat or trivet , round, wood, rattan, and inlays of mother-of-pearl. Handcrafted and fair.

Dimensions : diameter 31cm approx / thickness about 5mm.

The work of a true craftsman ! Each table set is made up of a slab of solid wood, tinted and varnished in which the craftsman inlays of small triangles of mother-of-pearl (a technique of marquetry). The circle of wood is pierced in multiple places, with a perfect precision. A second part, rattan woven by hand, is sewn on to the slab of wood, forming a pretty pattern (here the sun).
