This atypical musical instrument is made from half a coconut (the sound box), wood (to close the case) and metal slats that just slide to tune the instrument.
Originally from Africa, the Karimba, Kalimba, Sanza or piano or guitar thumb produces a warm sound similar to that of the xylophone.
