Rain stick 50cm bamboo decorated with the salamander hand-engraved.
Dimensions : length 50cm / diameter 5.5 cm approximately. Materials : bamboo and rattan, finish satin varnish. Can be hung on the wall with the fastener provided.
The Rain stick or rain stick is a musical instrument primitive of the category of idiophones, used for millennia by shamans of various ethnic groups to call the rain. Simply return it, like an hourglass, and the seeds they contain will be spent in producing a sound mimicking that of the rain.

In Melanesia, the rain stick is called a "talking stick" because it is used as an hourglass sound and allows to record the speaking time of each speaker.
To reproduce as faithfully as possible the sound of the rain, several rain sticks of different lengths. The effect is startling of realism !
Bamboo, a material 100% eco-friendly : bamboo is a plant of the same family as the grass (the grass). It grows very quickly, without it being necessary to use fertilizers, pesticides or other plant protection products. Its culture does not deplete the soil and reduces erosion and promotes natural irrigation. Finally, the bamboo fixed 30% more CO2 than deciduous trees, and releases much more oxygen. The cultivation of bamboo is thus actively participating in the fight against global warming !

Quel musique zen, j'adore les gravures sur le bambou et le son est magique.
Baton de pluie
Je m'attendais a mieux artisanalement parlant, même la mélodie n'émet pas vraiment le son qu'il devait faire ressortir, je suis un peu déçu, j'espérais mieux de ce bâton de pluie !
