Large Rain stick 100cm bamboo with décor and hand-painted.
Dimensions : length 100cm, diameter 6cm approx. The decor hand painted may vary from the model pictured (colors, pattern, animal represented). Materials : bamboo and rattan. Can be hung on the wall with the fastener provided.
The Rainstick , or rain stick is a musical instrument of primitive used for thousands of years by the shamans of various ethnic groups to call the rain. Simply return it, like an hourglass, and the seeds they contains flow, producing a sound close to that of a downpour of rain. Effect realistic and surprising !

In Melanesia, the rain stick is called a "talking stick" because it is used as an hourglass sound and allows to record the speaking time of each speaker.
To reproduce as faithfully as possible the sound of a downpour, it is necessary to go back several rain sticks of different lengths. The effect is startling of realism !
