A large wooden Buddha statue, entirely hand-carved
Dimensions: Height 100cm x width 40cm x depth 20cm approx. Weight: 20Kg approx. Material: solid exotic wood (Suar) with a tinted wax finish (wood from forests managed by an environmental protection organization). Artisanal creation imported in compliance with fair trade rules: slight differences in colors and appearance are possible compared to the model photographed.

The unique know-how of Balinese craftsmen at the service of your decoration
At Coco Papaya, we have been working hand in hand with more than 300 artisans in Bali since 2003. We have forged real links with the microcosm of Balinese craftsmanship, which allows us to offer you wonders such as this sublime Buddha statue entirely carved from a suar trunk.
Unfortunately, crafts do not attract many young Balinese, who often prefer other more lucrative trades. Good sculptors, capable of creating a work like this, are therefore rare. This does not detract from the exceptional character of this sculpture, quite the contrary.
This statue is offered with a tinted wax finish (as opposed to the colorless wax finish) which reduces the color contrasts of the suar wood and obtains a slightly darker, but above all more homogeneous color throughout the statue. Impressionnant statue de bouddha fait a la main. Apporte bcp a ma piece au cabinet pro. Franchement bravo. Artisanal, porte une energie merveilleuse. Pouvez acheter les yeux fermes.
