Magnificent buddha statue in solid wood carved by hand.

A true masterpiece of wood carving!

Dimensions: height 40cm x width 30cm x depth about 16cm. Weight: 2.5 to 3Kg approximately. Material: exotic wood (suar) from regulated sectors. Natural raw wood colorless waxfinish.

As each statue is entirely hand-carved by a confirmed artist, slight differences in appearance are possible compared to the model photographed.

Buddha is represented here in a sitting position, resting on a lotus. His hands are in Vitarka Mûdra, which is the gesture of teaching and argumentation, which Buddha adopted when he taught his knowledge to his disciples.

This sculpture was directly imported from the island of Bali (Indonesia). Our craftsman on site is one of the most renowned sculptors in the country. We have been working with him for more than 10 years and the quality of his creations is always excellent, with a very strong sense of detail.
