Very large wood carving craft representing Buddha seated in the meditation posture.
Dimensions of the statue : height 80cm / width 50cm / depth 25cm approximately. Weight 20Kg approximately. Material : exotic wood, massif (Suar) from sectors that are controlled. Hue of dark oak, waxed finish.
This beautiful Buddha statue is the work of our best wood-carver, who is a renowned artist from the Island of Bali (Indonesia). It has required many hours of work and is distinguished by a level of finishing is flawless, which is rare for pieces of this size. The face, the hands, the bun, the Kesa of the Buddha... every detail has been carved with the highest level of accuracy. Buddha is represented here in Vitarka Mudra. The ends of the thumb and index finger touching to form a circle. The right hand is held in front of the torso, while the left rests on the legs. This posture is the one that Buddha when he taught the doctrine to his disciples. The circles formed by the fingers represent a flow of energy to infinity.

Very nice and perfect delivery
