This does not prevent the amethyst from being purified and recharged. It is compatible with all recommended techniques.

To purify your jewelry or crystals in amethyst, simply dip them for a few hours in water (ideally demineralized or slightly salted), then wipe them with a clean cloth.

To recharge them with energy, expose them to sunlight for 2 to 3 hours. Amethyst also appreciates lunar light.
