A pearl of Asian craftsmanship, carrying a precious spiritual message

Here is our beautiful trio of patinated brass statuettes, representing the famous three monkeys of wisdom. This handcrafted trilogy from Indonesian ironwork is a true masterpiece that will bring a touch of elegance and refinement to your interior, while delivering a message full of wisdom and spirituality on a daily basis.

Each of these three statuettes is carefully crafted by a talented ironworker, to whom we have been loyal since 2003. Through his expertise, he was able to bring to life these three emblematic monkeys of Buddhist philosophy. Each monkey measures 11 cm in height and is delicately patinated according to the traditional method, offering an inimitable antique style.

The first monkey, Mizaru, hides his eyes so as not to see evil. It represents prudence and wisdom, and invites us not to be tempted by the illusions and temptations of the physical world.

The second monkey, Kikazaru, plugs his ears so as not to hear evil. It represents serenity and inner peace, and encourages us not to be swayed by malicious rumors and criticism.

The third monkey, Iwazaru, covers his mouth, not to say harm. It embodies kindness and compassion, and reminds us of the importance of speaking with gentleness and respect, so that we never hurt others with our words.

This singular trilogy will quickly become a trump card of your decoration: the nobility of the brass and the craftsmanship make it a precious object that arouses curiosity. These 3 primate sages will bring a touch of spirituality and oriental wisdom to your interior. An invitation to reflect and meditate on the values of respect, tolerance and wisdom.

What if you chose authenticity, quality and respect for artisanal traditions? What if you decided to contribute to the preservation of ancestral know-how, while bringing a touch of elegance and refinement to your interior decoration?

Don't miss the opportunity to acquire this magnificent trio of patinated brass statuettes, available in limited edition : a rare trilogy steeped in history, which will sublimate your living space while conveying a beautiful message.

The oldest depiction of the 3 Wisdom Monkeys is a sculpture that can be found in a 17th century Japanese temple... The most recent is certainly the "Emoticon" version of our smartphones!

The Three Monkeys of Wisdom: An Icon of Zen Decoration

The three wisdom monkeys are strong symbols of Buddhist philosophy, which find their place in a Zen decoration. The principles of Zen, derived from Japanese culture, are characterized by a minimalist layout, favoring simplicity and serenity.

In Zen decoration, the three wisdom monkeys are often used to create a peaceful and harmonious atmosphere, conducive to meditation and relaxation. They are strategically placed in the different rooms of the house, to bring a touch of wisdom and benevolence.

The first monkey, which hides its eyes, is associated with protection against negative energies related to sight. It is often placed near the front door or a window, to protect the house from negative external influences.

The second monkey, which plugs its ears, is associated with protection against negative energies related to hearing. It is often placed in rooms where a lot of time is spent communicating, such as the living room or office, in order to promote positive and harmonious communication.

The third monkey, which covers its mouth, is associated with protection against negative energies related to speech. It is often placed in rooms where people eat and rest, such as the kitchen or bedroom, to promote a peaceful and serene atmosphere.

In Zen decoration, the three wisdom monkeys are often depicted in the form of statuettes, paintings or decorative motifs, in natural materials such as wood, stone or brass. They are chosen for their elegance and harmony with the other elements of the decoration.

As major symbols of Buddhist philosophy, the three wisdom monkeys are naturally a source of inspiration for all lovers of Zen decoration.

By integrating them into your space, you can create a peaceful and harmonious space that is conducive to meditation and relaxation, while bringing a touch of wisdom and kindness to the atmosphere of the place.
