The present General Terms and Conditions of Sale define the rights and obligations of our company and of its consumers within the framework of the online sale of items offered by website (or Coco Papaya).

Online sales made on are subject to these General Terms and Conditions of Sale and any order placed by the buyer implies acceptance on the content of all the articles below.

1.Preamble : applicability of the general terms and conditions of sale

The present general terms and conditions of sale govern all relations between :

The present general terms and conditions of sale exclusively govern the sale of products proposed by for any order placed by a Customer, whatever the date and the place.

2. Terms and conditions of the tender : reserves the right to modify at any time the present General Terms and Conditions of Sale. The items for sale on  website are presented and detailed so that all consumers will be able to know the essential characteristics of the products they would buy (article L 111-1 of the french consumer Code). The pictures that illustrate the descriptions of the items are indicative but not contractual. Our products are mostly handmade crafts, there may be slight differences in size, weight, general appearance and colors as well as minimal imperfections compared to the pictures and descriptions that can be viewed online. This is a proof of the authenticity and uniqueness of each object.

3. Prices :

The price of each item is expressed in euros or in sterling pound and excludes shipping costs. Any visitor to the site can choose the applicable currency using the selection button at top right of the screen. reserves the right to change any price at any time but undertakes to apply the price in force at the time of order.

According to the shipping address specified by the Customer in his personal account, the price of the ordered items on the online store may be exempt from French VAT (20%), and this in conformity with the French legislation. 4. Shipping :

An estimate of the shipping costs of the current order is provided at any time to the Customer who visits when hovering over the "shopping cart" that is displayed on top right of the screen. The real price of postage will be provided at the end of the ordering process, if the Customer has selected the items he wishes to purchase, the mode of delivery, and the delivery address of the parcel.

The price of shipping depends on the nature and number of items purchased, as well as the country of destination and the carrier selected. The page " shipping Costs " of gives more details shipping costs to European countries.

For information, Coco Papaya participates in an average height of 4£ to the actual price of the costs of packaging and shipping each order.

5. Rules :

The ordered goods are payable cash and without discount, the payment method is the buyer's choice from among those offered by :

- Credit card : payments are made secure through our partners PayPal or Hipay. The details of credit cards are encrypted under the protocol SSL (Secure Socket Layer) and never transmitted unencrypted over the network. never has access to the Customer's bank details. 6. Shipment of the order :

All orders are processed daily from Monday to Friday included, and shipped by Parcel or letter, always with a tracking number. Shipping by is carried out after receipt and confirmation of payment of the order.

7. Delivery of the order :

Orders shipped by Coco Papaya can be supplied in the office or in the Client's home, depending on the carrier and in what way it will be chosen on the Website. For each command, Coco Papaya communicates a # and a web link for tracking, the Customer can use on the carrier's website to obtain details on the time and manner of delivery.

The Customer is free to contact the carrier for further information regarding the delivery of his parcel.

The Client can also contact Coco Papaya to the Contact section for any question relating to the transport and the delivery of his order, stating his references.

In any case, the tracking information provided by the carrier of the parcel, or through its website follow-up, shall prevail. will not accept any claims of the Customer for the theft or loss of the parcel if the tracking information provided by the carrier will go against this hypothesis. Any parcel with the status "delivered" or "distributed" or "deposited in the mailbox" on the website of the carrier will be considered as such by even if no written confirmation exists.

8. To return an item

In accordance with article 121-16 of the French Consumer Code, the buyer has a period of 14 days from the receipt of his order to return the product purchased and request an exchange or refund. In order to offer a better level of service to its Customers, extends this time limit of 1 day to bring it up to 15 calendar days.

Within 48 hours after receipt of your request, we will respond to you by email and provide you with the following :

  • Notification of acceptance or rejection of your return request.
  • If acceptance, return number to indicate on a note to include in the parcel
  • The delivery label to print and affix to the return parcel (if you chose this option).
  • Our return address (if you have chosen to return the parcel by your own means).

Finally, within 3 business days following the date of receipt of your return parcel, we will refund the returned items. This will be confirmed by email.

9. Parcel not called for

When the Customer is absent during the delivery of his parcel, it is likely that his parcel is delivered to a collection point. The customer will be informed of that by the carrier.  The customer then has a limited time (generally 10 to 15 days) to go and take possession of the parcel. Beyond this deadline, the parcel is deemed "unclaimed" or "not called for" and returned to by the carrier. The initial shipping costs, as well as the re-shipment of a parcel deemed "not called for" are the responsibility of the Customer.

When Coco Papaya receives a parcel which has not been called for, the concerned client will be informed by email. and 2 solutions are proposed :

1) The Client may request re-shipment of the parcel. In this case, give him a quote for re-shipping.

2) The Client may request the cancellation and the refund of his order. In this case, will refund the order after deduction of initial shipping costs and a management fee of 3£.

10. Warranty, claims, and disputes of delivery.

A) Warranty and claims.

Unless otherwise stated on the descriptive page of the product, and with the exception of electrical devices (such as diffusers or watches) that are guaranteed for 1 year, all products sold by Coco Papaya are guaranteed for 3 months from the date of delivery. The warranty covers only manufacturing defects. Any damages suffered by the(s) product(s) resulting from inappropriate use are not covered by the warranty. Any claims  occurring outside warranty time limit will be refused by Coco Papaya.

B) Dispute about the delivery.

The customer has a period of 45 calendar days from the date of shipment of his order to challenge the delivery. After this period, any order will be deemed to be delivered, and any dispute denied by Coco Papaya. The customer can see the shipping date of his order from his personal account on the online store, or on simple request to our customer service (order reference will be requested).

When a client challenges the delivery of a parcel within the period of 45 days, Coco Papaya opens a claim with the carrier who delivered the parcel concerned. The carrier then has a period of 10 working days to conduct an investigation and communicate its findings.

The conclusions of the carrier only will faith to provide a response to the dispute from the customer. If the investigation of the carrier concludes that the parcel has been lost or damaged, a new parcel will be shipped to the customer, or the order will be cancelled and refunded (at the customer's choice). If the investigation of the carrier concludes to the normal delivery of the parcel to the customer, the order will be deemed as delivered even in the absence of proof of delivery.

11. Reserve of property :

In accordance with the french law n°80.335 of 12 may 1980, reserves the ownership of delivered goods until the integral payment of their price.

12. Responsibility : declines any responsibility as for the diverted use or misuse of the goods the Customer has ordered.

13. Intellectual property :
