Magnificent statue of Buddha in meditation carved in wood by hand. A true masterpiece of wood sculpture !

Buddhist culture contains various mudra (position codified of the hands and the posture of the Buddha). Each Mudra has a specific meaning, because it is the union between the body, the spirit and the voice of the Buddha. You will find in our range of Buddha the one that fits you the best. Here we have the buddha sitting in the lotus position, His style is inspired by the burmese buddhas. This Buddha represents Vitarka Mûdra, the Mûdra of Teaching and Reasoning: the right hand is raised at chest level and the thumb with the index a circle, the other fingers being raised.

We went to pick up this gorgeous statue directly in Asia, with an artisan sculptor with which we are working since 12 years !
