"The 3 Monkeys of Wisdom". A magnificent trilogy of bronze statues in limited series !

Dimensions: height 11cm x width 11cm x depth about 11cm (for each monkey). Weight: about 1kg of bronze each monkey, or 3Kg the whole. Contents of the lot = 3 statues: 1 monkey who hides his eyes, 1 who hides his mouth, and 1 who hides his ears.

The 3 monkeys of wisdom, is symbol of Asian origin consisting of 3 monkeys, each of which covers a different part of the face. The first the eyes, the second the mouth and the third the ears. They form a kind of pictorial maxim: "See nothing (evil), hear nothing (evil), say nothing (evil)". To the one who would follow this maxim only good would happen.

They are also said to represent the secret of eternal love.
