The cat lucky Maneki Neko waves paw (battery LR06, not included). It has the reputation of bringing luck to its owner. If the sign comes from the right paw, it attracts good fortune (luck at the game or in business, for example). The left leg (popular with merchants) brings many visitors (and customers !)

It is for this reason that we often find these cats good luck Maneki Neko at the entrance of restaurants and shops : they are very often near the cash register.

The term Maneki comes from the verb in japanese "maneku", which means "invite" in the common sense, to come or enter . Neko refers to just the word " cat " in japanese. In summary , the term Maneki neko means "cat calls".
