Large Tiki in solid wood carved by craftsmen in Indonesia
Dimensions : 53 x 14 x 13.5 cm approximately. Material : exotic wood (Suar) from forests planted and managed by an organization for the protection of the environment. Creation of hand : slight differences in appearance are possible compared to the model photographed.
This authentic totem Tiki, a work carved from a single piece of wood, represents Ku, the god maori war.
C'is the only god maori for which human sacrifices would have been made. With his broad shoulders, her mouth wide open and his menacing look, Ku is the divinity in the character the most dominant.
This totem can be exposed to the inside or to the outside (after the application of a stain to protect the wood).
