• Dimensions: height 30cm x length 40cm x depth 18cm approximately. Weight: 3.5kg approximately.
• Material: solid suar wood, a noble Asian hardwood. Tinted wax finish revealing the wood grain.
• Style: colonial, ethnic chic, bohemian, Asian, exotic.
• Hand-carved in Bali: slight differences in shade or appearance are possible compared to the photographed model, signatures of the authenticity of each sculpture.

A ceremonial sculpture inspired by grand processions

The finely crafted caparison evokes the ceremonial attire worn during royal and religious processions in India, in Rajasthan or during Kerala festivals. In these traditions, elephants adorned with embroidered fabrics and golden ornaments accompany parades, embodying majesty and splendour.

In several Asian cultures, the elephant symbolises strength, wisdom and prosperity. Little wonder it is so often chosen as a symbol of protection at the heart of the home.

A statement piece for your interior

The woodwork gives this sculpture a striking relief, which the waxed finish enhances by revealing the natural grain of the suar. Placed on a teak console, a colonial sideboard or in an entrance hall, it catches the eye and structures the space with elegance.

It fits beautifully into a classic colonial decor as well as an ethnic bohemian atmosphere, surrounded by tropical plants, natural materials and a few candles. A strong and refined presence that sets the tone for your interior.
