Magnificent and imposing statue representing the Hindu god Shiva

Material: Suar wood from forests planted and managed by an environmental protection organization. Brown wax finish.

Shiva is a major god of Hinduism. In Sanskrit, his name means "the good, the lucky one".

Often, as is the case with this statue, it is represented by a Yogi, endowed with immense power, and who possesses universal, supreme and absolute knowledge. Its 5 essential functions are to be: the creator, the preserver, the transformer, the concealer and the revealer. He is the father of other deities, including Ganesha, the elephant-headed god.
