Forget paraffin: soy wax is so much better 🌱
All Mistral des Sens candles are made with French soy wax, natural and environmentally friendly.
Mistral des Sens candles are made from soy wax of French origin, an ideal choice for several reasons:
- No paraffin or petrochemical derivatives: Unlike mineral waxes such as paraffin, soy vegetable wax does not release toxic or polluting substances during combustion.
- Burns slower and more evenly : In addition to being less polluting, soy vegetable wax offers ideal properties for making scented candles. As a result, your candle lasts longer while diffusing its fragrance consistently.
- Biodegradable and renewable : Stop pollution! Vegetable soy wax is completely biodegradable. It is therefore an eco-responsible alternative that respects our beautiful planet.
- Easy to clean : If wax spills, a simple wipe of warm water and soap is all it takes to remove it. On the contrary, paraffin is much more difficult to unclog.
Compare prices and you will see that Mistral des Sens scented candles are not more expensive than those of the big brands that still use paraffin. So why deprive yourself?
To enjoy your "Mistral des Sens" candles for as long as possible, here are some recommendations…
- Always ensure that the wick remains straight and does not exceed 8mm. If it is too long, it may create unnecessary soot emissions and bend to one side, causing uneven melting of the candle. This would reduce burning time, and if the wick tilts to one side, it could heat the glass and break it. Ideally, trim and center the wick before each use if needed.
- During the first few uses of your "Mistral des Sens" candle, it is best to blow it out. Once the wick gets shorter, use the lid to smother the flame and prevent smoke from spreading.
- When only a few millimeters of solid wax remain at the bottom of the container, it is unfortunately time to part with your candle. If the part under the wick holder becomes liquid, the wick may detach and fall against the glass wall. This could heat the glass and potentially break it. If the wick is short because you followed the first recommendation, you can let it burn a little longer, but always under adult supervision.
- Once the candle is finished, pour some boiling water inside the container and clean it before recycling. Any remaining wax residues and the wick holder are not recyclable.

All Mistral des Sens candles are made with French soy wax and cotton wicks also from France. The perfumes come from Grasse, the world capital of perfumery.
