The sacred alliance of White Sage and Palo Santo

White sage and palo santo are the two fundamental pillars of Native American fumigation rituals. Find them together in these fumigation sticks (also called "smudges") which will allow you to practice this ancestral rite in accordance with tradition.

Shamans use white sage to increase wisdom and intensify connection with nature, while Palo Santo attracts positive energies and promotes focus. Burning one of these fumigation sticks would therefore purify a place or a person, and thus rid them of parasitic energies, undesirable entities and evil spells cast by ill-intentioned people.

Instructions for use

Here's how to use these White Sage and Palo Santo Fumigation Sticks:

• Light the end of a fumigation stick with a match or lighter, until the sage and palo santo ignite.
• Let it burn for about 20 seconds, then blow on the flame to extinguish it.
• Now smoke is coming from the fumigation stick and spreading its sweet scent into your room.
• Walk through your living space to purify it. Let the smoke disperse into all the nooks and crannies of the different rooms.
• You can now let the stick burn gently in a non-flammable container where the ashes will settle. This combustion must be done under the supervision of an adult, and in a suitably ventilated room.
• When the combustion is complete, check that all the embers are extinguished, for example by filling the container with water.
