These ingredients are then dried, ground or powdered to make mixing easier. Natural binders, such as gum arabic or honey, can be added to help form and maintain the shape of the balls. The resulting mixture is then rolled by hand or pressed into molds to create compact, uniform balls that dry in the open air or in a dry, ventilated place to ensure they harden properly and do not fall apart. Finally, the balls are packed in bags or boxes to protect them and preserve their properties until they are used.
