Tutorial: make a miniature Buddhist altar easily!
Here is a simple and easy decoration idea to create a small Buddhist altar yourself that you can place wherever you want: in the living room, the bedroom or in a room dedicated to well-being and relaxation. Here's how to do it:
- First of all, get a beautiful terrarium that you will place on a placemat made of natural material (seagrass, abaca, bamboo...). You can also use an aquarium or a large glass jar if you have that available.
- Line the bottom of the terrarium with sand, then place a few river pebbles, lichen, small pieces of dead wood, or other finds collected during a walk in nature.
- Now, place the miniature statuette of the Buddha prominently in the middle of this beautiful natural setting.
- Finally, around the terrarium, place other elements on the placemat to complete the scene, such as dried flowers, a few candles, pretty semi-precious stones or incense sticks.
