Why is the traditional mala made of 108 beads?
The number 108 occupies a central place in the Buddhist and Hindu traditions, as it symbolizes spiritual and cosmic perfection.
In Buddhism, it is associated with the 108 trials that Buddha overcame to attain enlightenment.
